Free speech is dying in this country, on our watch.

Taking away free speech and the right for people to speak their minds and live (peacefully) according to their beliefs is one of the most dangerous impulses any government can have, and it’s happening far too often here in the ‘free’ country of Australia.

Creating ‘zones’ in which freedom of political speech, religious speech, and protest ‘does not apply’ is absurd and cuts at the roots of the freedoms we quite clearly take for granted today.

To then enforce these ‘zones’ with $750 fines against even quiet prayer is downright bullying.

And for those who quietly think ‘good’ because of your pro-abortion or anti-religious views, this is your ‘Martin Niemoller’ moment… “First they came for the religious nuts praying near abortion clinics…” And the choice you make here, whether you chose to side with principles of freedom, or the politics of convenience, will speak volumes about you and your true commitment to freedom.
